Out of respect for those putting their homes and businesses back together due to Hurricane Irma, we rescheduled our Special Olympics Big Bad BBQ to Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017.

Niki Paint Studios/Therapeutic Mobile Artist! will be our Live Artist for the 4th Annual Big Bad BBQ on 9/14.

Niki recently launched a mobile therapeutic artist business. Over 25 years of making art and 18 years of raising a special needs child with Williams Syndrome (see photo above of her daughter and son); the signs all point to using art to make life complete for Niki! Niki began drawing as a young child and has not been able to stop! Painting has created lifelong happiness for her! In the last 25 years, she has used art to teach children how to read; taught adult classes; and sold her paintings in galleries. She has painted on walls, ceramics, wood, canvas, clothing, gourds, and motorcycles! In her life’s journey, she has seen the impact art has on people. She believes that we all have an innate need to create; sometimes we need a little boost in how to begin. This is where she feels compelled to help!
