DANTO BUILDERS
Frequently Asked Questions
What size projects do you take on?
We work on commercial projects ranging from smaller tenant improvements, build outs and renovations to larger ground-up new construction. Our team is structured to give every project — regardless of size — direct attention from Craig or Debbie Danto.
How do you handle fee structures?
We offer Lump Sum and cost-plus fee structures depending on project type and owner preference. We're transparent about our fee and overhead from day one.
How are change orders managed?
Every change order is documented in writing with a clear scope description, cost breakdown, and schedule impact before work proceeds. No surprises.
Can you build in occupied facilities?
Yes. We have extensive experience phasing construction in live hospitality, healthcare, retail, industrial, multifamily, and government environments — coordinating with tenants, residents, staff, and customers to minimize disruption.
Who is on site every day?
A dedicated superintendent is on site daily. Your project manager holds regular owner meetings and is reachable by phone, email or the Procore dashboard at any time.
How early should I bring in a GC?
As early as possible — ideally before design. Early GC involvement catches site and constructability issues, accelerates permitting, and locks in accurate pricing before the market moves.

Ready to bring your vision to life? Let's talk.
Whether you are evaluating a site, preparing a renovation, or planning a ground-up commercial development, an early conversation can help you clarify scope, timelines, budget considerations, and next steps.
