Public Projects Demand a Builder You Can Count On.

This three-phased, 15,000-square-foot interior improvement project included selective demolition and removal of existing finishes, interior drywall partitions, and associated MEPs. The build-out created new offices and common areas with new MEPs, access controls, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, framing, drywall, windows, doors, glass-partition walls, glass garage doors, a fire-rated coiling door, acoustical ceilings, flooring, finishes, a bullet-resistant reception desk, fixtures, furnishings, workstations, equipment, and associated demolition.

While maintaining full airport operations and working under FAA guidelines, the project included 1,904 square feet of new construction and addition, plus a 9,000-square-foot major renovation and gut build-out of offices, conference rooms, an IT room, and bathrooms. Exterior improvements and site work included water retention areas, storm drainage, native landscaping, site lighting, parking-lot paving, exterior lighting, curbing, striping, a multi-use patio with concrete benches and shade systems, and an electric-vehicle charging station.

The project demolished an existing 6,000-square-foot building and site, then added storm drains, oil separators, sanitary lines, underground electrical, fiber-optic and communications systems. Danto Builders constructed a new 5,660-square-foot concrete and steel pavilion with restrooms, concession, storage, and a community room; a new seawall and retaining wall; decks, ramps, benches, and stairs to the beach; a 13,200-square-foot parking lot; signage, exterior lighting, surveillance and security systems, a fiber network, native landscaping, fencing, 2,800 square feet of pavers, and ADA improvements.

The project delivered site improvements, asphalt repairs, replacement, and seal coating across existing runway airside areas, taxi areas, parking lots, wheel stops, and the main perimeter road.

Danto Builders completed major site work across 12 acres, including site clearing and dredging; chipping and hauling vegetation; rebuilding two retention areas and ponds; installing new storm drains and asphalt repairs; and completing sodding and landscaping.

Site work and construction of a seaweed and recycling transfer station delivered through a public-private partnership for the City of Fort Lauderdale, alongside the adjacent pickleball facility.
